Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands announces its first downloadable content: Perfidious Ophid will be available on Thursday

2K and Gearbox Software reveal that Perfidious Ophid will be available on April 21. This is the first of four downloadable contents announced for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and accessible via Season Pass. Whether you’re just beginning your adventure in the Wonderlands or have already reached the end of the game, get ready to travel through the first Vesper Mystery Mirror. Ophid’rien begins in Veiled Overhang, where the enigmatic fortune teller Vesper awaits her audience. Long ago, the Ophid’rien made the biggest catch in history by catching a very old god! The god was trapped in the body of a strong and powerful sea worg with sharp teeth, then locked in the depths of an ice mountain. Only you have the power to free the one they call « Chums » from his prison of flesh. You will have to cross cold and desolate lands, as well as arid ruins, but also flood caves filled with enemies. Perfidious Ophid includes:
  • A new boss « Chums », the ancient God, and four powerful forms that will unlock as you go along. Vesper’s tales are designed to be replayable so you can test your mettle against the increasing difficulty.
  • New loot to collect, including weapons, equipment and cosmetic items. Each time you defeat the increasingly fearsome boss forms, you’ll earn lost souls that allow you to spin Vesper’s Wheel of Destiny. Spins on this frightening contraption can reward you with weapons, equipment and other legendary items.
  • New Chamber of Chaos content. Completing the challenges of Perfidious Ophid will also allow you to add this content to the random opportunities included in Chamber of Chaos, the infinitely replayable endgame of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. This will expand the myriad of combinations for your randomized dungeon, making each run much more unpredictable.
Available for purchase individually or as part of theChaos Wonderlands Edition, this Season Pass includes four new pieces of post-release content featuring awesome bosses and undiscovered locations, a seventh class that extends the Multiclass system, and a suite of cosmetics in the Ass Stallion bonus cosmetic content pack.
