NEW VEHICLE CATEGORIES AND NEW ENVIRONMENTS!
Continuing the heritage of the Hot Wheels world, associated with speed and thrills, Hot Wheels Unleashed™ 2 – Turbocharged features more than 130 vehicles, including motorcycles and quads, which will make their debut in the game. Every driver will be able to find the vehicle that suits them best! There’s something for everyone: the pure speed of the Rockets, the agility of the Fast classes, the perfect blend of maneuverability and power of the Balanced cars, the precision and finesse of the Derapeurs, the majesty of the Ultra-Resistant classes and the recklessness of the All-Terrainers
Each vehicle class is driven differently, depending on its particular attributes as well as the racing surface. In Hot Wheels Unleashed™ 2 – Turbocharged, the environment plays a key role, and you’ll have the chance to discover five new settings: a vintage arcade, a backyard transformed into a racing arena, a mini-golf course with a Far West feel, a dinosaur museum and a service station/restaurant
COMBINE STRATEGY AND SKILL
In Hot Wheels Unleashed™ 2 – Turbocharged, victory won’t just depend on your speed! In fact, the game introduces an innovative new skill system, then transforming racing into a battlefield where you’ll need to strategize. Improve the performance of your vehicles by investing the skill points you’ve earned during the race. You can choose between boost, characteristics or obstacle resistance
New game mechanics also add a whole new dynamic to the game. Players can now use single or double jumps to overtake opponents, dodge obstacles, take shortcuts or hidden track sections. The new side dash allows players to move sideways very quickly, but also to avoid passing outside the limits of the track. These new features are in addition to the existing boost and drift functions, offering players a variety of approaches for each different scenario
NEW GAME MODES AND A SCRIPTED CAMPAIGN
Hot Wheels Unleashed™ 2 – Turbocharged is enhanced by new game modes, such as Elimination mode, where the slowest vehicles will be eliminated as they go, or Drift Master mode, where drift enthusiasts can make their tires squeal on the asphalt. These two game modes can be played in split-screen mode, as can Waypoint mode, which lets players explore the game’s five environments and discover their secrets. Two online modes will also be available in cross-play*: Grab the Gears mode, where players will have to try to collect as many gears as possible, and Clash Derby mode, which will be reserved for Monster Trucks and allow players to take on their opponents with the most powerful blows possible
Hot Wheels Unleashed™ 2 – Turbocharged will also take players back to the city. Darla and Robert, the protagonists, accompanied by their robotic assistant XR046, will be called upon to restore peace after a wave of creatures has been accidentally released by Professor Tanabe. Players will be able to discover the personality of each character via animated scenes, immersing them in a narrative journey. This adventure will lead them into breathtaking battles with five bosses, with the aim of saving the city and its inhabitants!
CREATE YOUR OWN GAME!
A host of customization enhancements await the Hot Wheels Unleashed community! A new sticker editor will be available, itself integrated into the editing module, enabling fans to create, save and share their own shapes and designs. A track editing mode will offer new modules for creating the track of your dreams, or exploring the creations of the Hot Wheels community. All the content created by the community will be accessible from day one (right now!)
