Publisher astragon Entertainment and developer Aesir Interactive announce that the new free Crime Scene update for the acclaimed Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is now available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. The update significantly expands players’ interactions at crime scenes, with the introduction of interventions that make them directly responsible for initial safety procedures as first responders. New tools such as security posts and evidence preservation tape, as well as evidence markers, now allow players to document and photograph the crime scene, enhancing their own investigation and making it easier to track down wanted suspects
The Multipurpose Police Vehicle DLC is also available today for €2.99 on all platforms. This adds a car that allows players to tow civilian vehicles damaged in accidents or those that break the law, and increases the size of the trunk inventory

Following player demand, the Crime Scene update significantly increases player responsibility while retaining the authentic character of the game. The contents of the update are available below
- New interventions: Major crime scenes now include robberies and assaults
- New tool: Use evidence markers to mark clues at a crime scene, then record them by taking photos to complete the investigation.
- New tools: Secure the area around a crime scene with security posts and tape to prevent passers-by from interfering with the investigation or damaging evidence.
- When the investigation is complete and the progress bar is full, the search for suspects begins
